The TX Series is a highly precise analytical balance, designed to measure small capacities in the sub-milligram range. This is the lowest-priced Trade Approved scale in our range of analytical balances, but still provides highly accurate readings of the smallest items.

TX Series analytical balances are available as a Trade Approved (Class II) scale. These precision scales come with Windows Direct software built in, allowing data to be transferred direct from the scale to any PC with Windows. Simply connect the analytical balance scale and your computer with an RS-232 cable, and with a click of the ‘Print’ key the weight displayed on the scale will be sent to your computer – and into a document, for example an Excel spreadsheet. No additional software is required to use this feature.

One of the key elements to this scale which makes it so high performance is a one-piece aluminium mass sensor. This sensor helps the balance resist deterioration and damage from ordinary impacts. The mass sensor helps the scale stay reliable, stable and provide a fast response to weight detection. This scale has a bright, backlit LCD display – perfect for difficult lighting conditions. To save your battery power, the backlight will turn off when the scale is not in use.

The TX also has a piece counting facility. For example the weight of one item, like a tablet, can be recorded – then, a batch can be poured onto the balance and it will calculate how many items are in that sample. A windbreak box around the scale with a glass sliding door helps protect from external factors like wind or dust  – which, due to the ultra-high accuracy of the scale, could affect the weight reading.
